Brangwyn was an Anglo-Welsh artist, painter, illustrator and designer. The plates are of bridges from across the globe, with examples in Spain, Toledo, Bradford-on-Avon, Florence, Lyon, Germany and Moscow to name but a few locations. From the library of one J F Crace, with their bookplate to the front pastedown. This work looks at the bridge as a work of art, as a useful tool, and as an architectural feat.
