Written and illustrated by William Henry Bartlett, a British artist known for his steel engravings. Label to the front pastedown, 'Miss L. Wild, from W. S. Binns.. in a slight degree his sense of her uniformly good .. which a pupil at Highfield Academy, Oldman, 10 June 1878&apos. Collated, complete. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Crack to the head of the spine and head of the front joint. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Light markings to the boards. A little discolouration to the spine. Prior owner's label to the front pastedown. Bookseller label to the rear pastedown. Internally, firmly bound.
