Cracks to both spines, with loss to each of the spine labels. Bumping to the extremities. Marks to the front and rear boards. Cracks to both the front and rear joints of each volume. The rear boards of each volume are at risk of becoming detached, with the front and rear hinges of each volume strained. Spotting to the front and rear endpapers and pastedowns.
