In a uniform cloth binding, with gilt detailing to the front boards. Externally lightly bumped to the head and tail of the spine, and also to the extremities. Light patches of rubbing to the front and rear boards. Tide mark to the top edge of volume I. Cockling to the front boards of volume IV. The odd spots to the front and rear boards. Dampstaining and light cockling to the front and rear pastedown and endpapers of each volume. Lightly strained front and rear joints. Internally firmly bound. Pages are very lightly cockled.
