A rare volume. With a booksellers label to the tail of the front pastedown of 'William George's Sons Ltd. 89 Park Street, Bristol&apos. Ink inscription to the front free endpaper that reads, 'William Kitching. With love from his Sister, Sarah Kitching 5th of 5th Month, 1877. Illustrated with three plates, those being a frontispiece, plate and a folding plate. Collated complete. Rebacked, retaining the original cloth boards. In a full cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Light bumping to the spine. Heavier bumping to the extremities, with rubbing to the front and rear boards. Repairs to the front and rear endpaper, and hinges. Bookseller's label to the tail of the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally clean. Light spots to the first and last few pages, and with the odd mark throughout.
