New Haven H. Mansfield, 1885. First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall, Hard Cover, Fair. First edition of this illustrated genealogy of the Mansfield family, starting from New Haven, Connecticut. Externally worn, with scuffing and fraying to the spine ends, hinges cracked, text block firm. A few margin chips, most pages very good. Some plates loosened but present, some with dampstains toward the lower edges (must have occurred before binding, as the surrounding pages are not stained). Rear free endpaper chipped. A worn but quite serviceable copy.
