Title: Fabrics in the Home - Their Place in the Furnishing Scheme
Description: London, Herbert Jenkins Ltd. 1950. 1950. Hardcover with dust jacket. Hardback, tall octavo, appx 6 3/8 x 9 1/2 inches (16 x 24.4 cm), 239 pages, VG in VG dj (dj in new protective mylar). Tight binding with hinges intact. Very light amount of foxing to red cloth beneath the dj (no signs on either side of dj). Interior generally very nice - clean, no names, no writing. Small area of waviness at bottom edge of two of the color plates (frontis and the last plate at the rear), which could have possibly occurred during or before the printing/binding process, since no moisture staining to the book anywhere. DJ minor soil to back panel (showing on the white background), but not a great deal of dj wear by any means, with only a couple of very short front panel edge splits, another at head of spine and only very minor additional edge wear. Illustrated with b&w drawings + scattered b&w photo plates on glossy stock + scattered full-page color plates on glossy stock. Appendix: Furnishing Fabrics Classified (an alphabetical glossary, in effect). Lengthy Index. Very Good/Very Good.
