Title: MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS OF THE WESTERN WORLD
Description: McGraw-Hill, no date (circa 1965?). 1965. Hardcover with dust jacket. Hardback, squarish quarto, appx 10 3/4 x 12 3/4 inches, 259 pages, Near or About VG in G only dj (dj in new protective mylar). Interior of book itself: Near Fine with sound binding, clean endpapers, clean interior. Exterior of book itself: light but not small moisture tide marks to cloth surrounding both spine-ends (about invisible on the spine itself, but more obvious on the f&b covers extending from spine in 2 or 3 inch arcs along both top and bottom edges of both the front and back covers). DJ price-clipped, and typically not in the best of shape with tape repairs to the unprinted side (colorful front panel repaired flaws and looks the best; black background spine shows some laminate separating; back panel also shows some laminate separating + small chip missing top edge and 2-inch triangle missing bottom edge). Printed in Western Germany. Some b&w photography, but the majority of the images (of magnificent individual instruments) are in color on tipped-in plates. Illustrated endpapers. Footnotes, Bibliography, Index. Very Good/Good.
