Grand Rapids, Baker, 1949-1950 (Schaff-Herzog) & 1955 (Twentieth Century). 1955. Hardcover . Hardback set of 15 books, octavo, matched bindings, gilt and brown on tan cloth, VG set/no dj's. Bindings sound. Some cover wear, but not excessive (moreso to the 13 Schaff-Herzog volumes which includes the Index volume - and mostly at the spines). One outside back cover has very minor evidence of moisture - no staining within, but viewing this volume when shelved, a tide-mark is visible along the left-hand edge of spine (length of the back cover joint of Vol. II). Name in ink across top of each FFEP. A few articles laid-in taken from American Lutheran, Christian Century, etc. Small map of Germany affixed to ffep of each of the two Twentieth Century Volumes. Very minor bit of scattered notation to the volumes. Some darkening to endpapers from publisher's pastedown glue. Shipping charges will need to be adjusted (quoted for your approval). Very Good.
