NY, Fowler & Wells, Sept, 1892 / March, 1893, Second Edition. 1893. Hardcover . Title page states 1892, but a three-page Preface To The Second Edition is dated March 23, 1893. Hardback, twelvemo, appx 5 1/8 x 7 1/2 inches, gilt on brown cloth, VG to VG+/no dj. Numbering system a little off: i-vii + [i (blank)] + [ii (Preface to First Edition)] + 9-202 + 6 pages of ads. Generally, the book is quite clean inside and out (no names, no writing within). There is a small dot of dark stain to the fore-edges of the text and two pages within lightly ghosted from a newspaper clipping that must've been laid-in. Book has yellow endpapers with hinges intact & a solid binding. Gilt remains strong to both spine and front cover (just a little less bright at spine). Ends & corners lightly bumped. The rubbing to corners, edges and spine-ends is just a little worse than minor - not detracting greatly, but noticeable as the book's chief imperfection. Very Good.
