Description: New York, American Bank Note Company & Republican Party, 1892. 1892. No Binding . Ticket and stub together measure 2 9/16 x 6 1/8 inches. Very clean, beautifully engraved on both sides (to the left an eagle holding a flag, to the right a Native American standing before Minnehaha Falls). Engraved printing stipulates "4th Day Only" and "Alternate". Numbered in red as Main Floor Session 3, Section Y, Seat 184. From some other papers this ticket was found with, this alternate delegate was a North Dakota judge, North Dakota having been admitted to the union in just 1889. President Harrison was re-nominated at this convention to run as the incumbent, but Harrison lost the election to Cleveland who won to serve his 2nd term.
