Memoir by this all-American con artist, who was a forger and bad check-passer, but who gained greatest renown as a kind of Everyman Impostor, successfully passing himself off (by sheer chutzpah) as an airline pilot, attorney, college professor, pediatrician, even an FBI agent. A few years back, somebody apparently told Steven Spielberg that this guy's story would make a great movie; with the help of Leonardo DiCaprio, Spielberg proceeded to demonstrate that he wasn't up to the task..
