Gilt-edged boards with gilt lettering and decoration on spine. Boards have several scorings and noticeable abrasions. One or two dark stains on front board. Spine is rather cracked and worn, with small tears at ends. Leading corners are very worn, rubbed and bent. Penned marginalia dated 1807 on front endpaper, and further penned marginalia on pastedowns and title page. Lower leading corner of rear endpaper has been torn off. Tears to upper leading corners of several pages near middle of book. Front hinge is cracked but binding appears sound. Contents remain clear. AF. Good/No Dust Jacket.
