Book of Hours, Vellum Manuscript Leaf 1350 AdEngland, Unknown 1350, Mansucript. Very Good with no dust jacket. Color lettering; 2 pages; Manuscript leaf on vellum (both sides) from an English rendition of Latin Book of Hours, c.1350. Each book of hours is unique in one way or another, but all contain a collection of texts, prayers and psalms. Sized 5 3/4 x 4 1/4 in. Large initial in red and blue with long vertical red flourish, other initials in red or blue. In mount. Very slightly wrinkled. Matted in 8x10" black board. Latin language. Scribe unknown. 3"x1/2" strip of old masking tape affixes vellum at top edge. Scan of leaf's back showing tape is available.
