With the front panel and flaps of the original dustjacket; and a supplied complete A.L. Burt dustjacket. VG+/VG in woven fine blue-greycloth stamped very brightly in gold and white on the front boards, and in bright gold on the spine. Exceptionally clean and tight throughout with only the faintest touch of rubbing to the extremities. In a supplied A.L. Burt dustjacket which is chipped at the top and bottom of the spine ends. The front panel matches exactly the front panel of the Harper's edition which is laid in, as are the front and rear flaps of the original dustjacket which feature a "Notice: How to Open a Book" (the front flap); and "The Reader's Duty" (the rear flap).
