Description: Detroit, MI: The Evening News Association, 1924. First Edition (?). Hardcover. Hard cover is green cloth with gold lettering on front and spine. Pages are clean and tight; appears as if unused. Page 62 has a pasted on 'page', possibly covering an error on that page. Frontispiece is a b/w photo of the then headquarters for the paper, with a listing of its business history up to that time. In 1989, the two major Detroit papers, The Detroit Free Press and the Detroit News, began operating under a JOA [joint operating agreement]. Both still exist as separate entities, but the weekend papers are a combination of both papers. ; Evening News Association, Detroit Series; 5 1/4 x 7 1/2; 114 pages; Cover has minor shelf wear, bumping, scuffing..
