This copy comes from the library of renowned photographer, composer, director, writer, etc., Gordon Parks. Laid in is the business card of Holt, Rinehart and Winston, Inc. Editor-In-Chief, General Book Division, Thomas C. Wallace, on which he has written on the recto in ink "7/31/Gordon/I think you said you/liked Bruce Davidson's work/Anyway, here is his latest book/If I don't see you before, (continued on the verso) I'm very much look/forward to that great/day in Pound Ridge. What/happen if you here to play/more than one match in the/Tournament??? Ta". A wonderful copy of photographer Bruce Davidson's third book. Uncommon in cloth, especially in such nice condition and no doubt with this provenance.
