A beautiful presentation of this profuse collection of photographs by twenty-six Canadian photographers who were commissioned for this project by the National Film Board of Canada and which chronicle and capture the land and the people along both sides of the international boundary between the United States and Canada. This book was Canada's official bicentennial gift to the people of the United States. Foreword by then Canadian Prime Minister, Pierre Elliott Trudeau. Text in English and French.
