1909. Cloth. Leipzig: Karl Baedeker. 1909. Fifth edition. Thick 12mo. Gilt titled limp red cloth. Marble decorated edges. Spine has some soiling and fading. Edges are lightly tanned. Edges of a few leaves are creased else very good. Fold out maps are bound in as issued. Neat previous owner's name and date in ink on front pastedown and with some light glue staining from removed illustrated bookplate, still laid in. A nice copy of this volume from the now legendary and widely collected series of Baedeker's travel guides. A wonderful book. Uncommon.
