All volumes have a trace of soiling to the wraps which are all slightly spine darkened. Top and bottom edges of "Chagall: Burning Lights" are a bit darkened else all volumes near fine in slipcase with affixed large wrap around illustrated label. Slipcase has some light wear to the extremities and a bit of light scuffing with a few edge splits else very good. Consists of the following volumes: "Chagall: Burning Lights. A Unique Double Portrait of the Warm World of Russian Jewry in a text by Bela Chagall and thirty-six drawings by Marc Chagall" by Bella and Marc Chagall (third paper printing), "Guide for the Jewish Homemaker" by Shonie B. Levi and Sylvia R. Kaplan (second printing, second revised paper edition), "Guide to Jewish Holy Days. History and Observance" by Hayyim Schauss (Third printing, first paper edition), "History of the Jews" by Cecil Roth (fourth printing, first paper edition), "Life Is With People. The Culture of the Shtetl" by Mark Zborowski and Elizabeth Herzog with an introduction by Margaret Mead (third printing, first paper edition) and "Ten Rungs. Hasidic Sayings" by Martin Buber (third printing, first paper edition). A wonderful set and an essential introduction and reference to the world of Jewishness. Uncommon in this slipcased edition.
