London, Victor Gollancz Ltd. 1964, First. Hardcover with dust Jacket, 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Blue cloth boards with some bumping to edges and corners, top of spine has small colour defect (original), the yellow d/w has darkened with age and is torn, particularly on top edge. The card of "Dr. & Mrs. Li Shu-Pui" (a colleague) is paperclipped to ffep, the clip has rusted with age, causing a rusty imprint on first title page. "A book destined to be a classic of adventure & devotion, courage & success" said Dr. Felix Marti-Ibanez in his foreword. A fabulous story. Dr. Li Shu-Fan died in 1966. Very Good/Fair.
