A closed tear in the frontispiece but a very good copy inside. ¶ Sponsored, at the very least, by varnish, paint and colour maker Conrad Wm. Schmidt (F.A. Glaeser) of London whose wares are urged whenever possible. This doesn't detract though from its value - it is very straightforward and practical.
