Added is the Victoria & Albert Museum 'Catalogue of Sculpture by Auguste Rodin'; (1914; octavo printed wrapp, 22pp and 16 plates) - the result of Rodin's gift to the museum of the collection. ¶ The privately organised retrospective in the Pavillon de l'Alma at the Exposition Universelle - mounted after Rodin's discovery that only two of his works were included in the stolidly academic and dreary official section of the Exposition. This pavilion was the progenitor of the Musee Rodin. The catalogue lists 135 items which includes, as well as finished works, maquettes, fragments, studies and works in progress.
