Very worn boards with remnants of original leather spine. 60 pp followed by a 12-page long listing of books for sale by Daivid Allinson at his shop above City Hall, and the prices of those books. A very rare New Jersey imprint in fair condition only, with the noted defects. The list of books for sale at the rear is especially scarce and useful. The preferatory remarks state that this is the first printing of this hitherto unpublished essay. However, it seems to have been first published in 1793, in Dublin, and then in London in 1794. This New Jersey imprint is quite rare, both for this printer and for this Woolman tract. Fair only. Staining from dampness and discoloration to the pages from the dampness with a distinct line .
