Cover edges worn, with small tears at corners and caps. Hinges are loosening. Vol1, cloth splitting at hinges. some small tears in title page, crease on first page of index. Vol 2, cloth tear at base of spine a bit larger. early English plates 27-32 loose. plates 31 and 37 are missing and 32 is chipped in the margin) .
