VG-, some scuffing to leather, few weak hinges, still a very attractive set. 4 bound volumes containing 240 steel engravings, bound in green library buckram. No text to accompany the plates, as can be found in other editions. Most plates exhibit offsetting. ¶ Each volume contains 60 steel engravings, some exhibiting foxing or spotting but most are clean. All have an oval blindstamp in the lower right hand corner of the page from the art library where this set originated.
