Ill.: Frontis a B/W Engraving. Full tooled ribbed leather boards the titles in faded gilding on a red patch to the spine.Boards edges are decorated with now faded gilding.Corners are mildly bumped and the firm binding will last another couple of hundred years or so.Both hinges are crack ing just a tad. and there is some mild foxing which does not interfere with the text in any way.The previous careful owner an Wm,Hale.A.Gray of Quebec has passed ("Descended from")the book down to his grandson James Gray. is written in a fine hand in India Ink on the title page. Very Good/None Given.
