The titles on the front are centred in a laurel wreath also in gilt, Gilding is bright and clean.The front and rear two sheets show very mild foxing. The portraits however are printed on heavy calendered stock and are simply superb. The front two sheets contain advertisments and the rear two sheets show where the portraits reside and how to procure them.The binding will i'm sure be in this condition in another hundred years or so. Near Fine.
