A book for children providing an introduction into learning the alphabet, using pictures and verse to illustrate each letter. POOR condition. Most of the front cover torn away and MISSING, with the upper left quarter present, resulting in loss of most of the title and inside front cover. Several large tears to the rear cover, bearing old repairs with string. Moderate soiling and staining to the piece. 4 by 2 inch piece MISSING from the bottom of the first page, with some loss of text. Heavy chipping and tearing, with some loss, along the extremities of all pages. Insect damage to the upper left corner of the first page. A very worn, but still intact, book. Poor .
