LACKING the second volume (E-M). A comprehensive auction catalog of the books from the well known bibliophile, A. Edward Newton, providing bibliographic details to the books. GOOD condition. Ex-museum library. Library embossments/stamps to the first few pages in each book. No pockets, pastedowns or exterior markings, although dark rectangles of sticker residue appear at the top of each volume's front cover. Minor soiling, staining and scuffing to the covers. Uneven fading and minor toning. Paper bumped, scuffed and frayed at the corners. Faint date in pencil at the top front cover of part 3. Interiors solid, with a few pages creased over at the corners, both upper and lower. Good/No Jacket.
