OCLC records indicate these should have come with publisher's printed wrappers, but none are present. These works may have been bound together at some point. Two short works for children with the stories book discussing Fort Stephenson, General John Laurens, Major Ringold, General (Zachary) Taylor, the death of General Pike, General Jackson, and General Howard. The book of generals mentions generals William Worth, John Cadwalader, Charles Lee, Arthur St. Clair, General Brown, William Eaton, and General Macomb. Both in FAIR/GOOD condition with moderate browning, uneven darkening and a few areas of foxing. Faint dampstain on the lower portion of the title page of the book of stories. A number in pen also atop that page. Minor creasing and soiling throughout the works. A few stray faint pencil lines present. Fair .
