Description: These two football stars were both part of the "Class of '86" -- elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame: linebacker Lanier played for the Kansas City Chiefs (1967-77) and quarterback Tarkenton for the Minnesota Vikings (1961-66, 1972-78) and New York Giants (1967-71); both were also elected to the College Football Hall of Fame. Pair of signatures on fine, matching, heavy stock 5" X 3" cards -- Lanier in black ballpoint dates his 5 February 1989 at upper right and Tarkenton in black fineline dates his 30 March 1988. Both original transmittal envelopes present. This pristine pair are accompanied by an outstanding 10" X 8" glossy black-and-white photograph, a candid full-length portrait of all five smiling Class of 1986 Hall of Fame inductees in suits and ties standing together, each holding his own head-and-shoulders bust.
