IPS, 7½" X 9½", n.p. January 1935. Near fine. Handsome sepia-tone closeup portrait of D'Orsay and then husband, actor Maurice Hill, smiling cheek to cheek. In a light portion at upper left, she signs and inscribes boldly in blue ink: "To Eddie Kesner / a real live booster / Best of luck / Maurice and Fifi-Hill / Jan. 1935." D'Orsay married Hill in 1933 and divorced him in 1938, so photographs signed with this married name are uncommon. A delightful vintage image, beautifully signed. .
