Large, choice signature and inscription in black fineline from the photographer to another well-known photographer, Archie Lieberman (1926-2008) of "Farm Boy" fame, on the front flyleaf: For Archie / from / Jim & [ ? ] / Smestad / 5-23-96." Below this, Lieberman pens Smestad's name and address. .
