Remanent of former owner's book plate on front free endpaper (lower portion with name has been removed). Linen covers with gilt letter on front and gilt lettering on spine. Faint stain on top edge of front cover (interior not affected). Top edge of front cover is bumped. DJ edges creased with a few tears which have been repaired from behind with clear tape. Top DJ spine missing one inch piece (just barely touches sub-title. DJ is lightly soiled. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Selling online since 1999. Very Good/Good, This is a large book and will require additional postage for Priority and International shipments.
