Book Hardcover , Very Good, A very good copy in original boards that bear an old dampstain at one edge. 432 pages with pages v-viii apparently not bound in. Frontispiece of distillation apparatus and title-page are in near fine condition with light scattered foxing as are the remaining pages. The missed gathering appears to be restricted to index pages, which appear at the front, and, therefore, a minor exclsuion. Four pages of the index are included, and there are no other missing pages. A very uncommon book in any edition or condition.
