Complete and original disbound issue in near fine condition with light wrinkling to spine, and light foxing to margins of some pages, looks remarkably clean and bright and.Illustrated article, "How We Took the Chinese Port" (pp. 152-153), about the "capture of hte Barrier Forts, guarding the approach to Canton, written by the surgeon on board the United State sloop. Engraving of the Barrier Forts from a sketch by J. H. Wright and of "Fort Tung-Un, After the Bombardment," as well as map of the attack of the Portsmouth and Levant upon the fort. Also of note is an Interesting cover story, "When Shall We Marry?" debating the age at which people should get married. Another article, "The Wild Huntsman," has four illustrations and covers nearly three pages with the author's personal references to hunting wild animals in the Arctic, India, the island of Martinique, and Chandernagore (pp. 156-158). 'Levant.'"
