Very good in green cloth-covered boards with attractive illustration of Tom with his dog and trees in teh background done in brown, black and orangish red (colors still bright, hardly any rubbing). Gold lettering (still bright and complete) and black and brown design on spine shows Tom with his rifle walking away into the trees. Some soiling to page edges and edges of boards, light wear and bumping to extremities of boards, light soiling to boards, clean and bright interior with NO FOXING. Binding is tight, slight starting toward bottom spine area of title page only. Name of former owner and words, "12 Birthday" to front fly page in light pencil.
