Contemporary calf, blind fillets to boards, lettering piece and blind fillets to spine. A few small inkstains to boards, corners lightly bumped, front hinge just starting. Early annotation to front pastedown. Light foxing in a few places, creases to some leaves, minor worming to lower margins of final few leaves with no loss to text. A nice copy in a well-preserved binding. $600. * Eighth and final edition. First published in 1713, this comprehensive treatise on landlord and tenant was a standard work for many years. A practical book designed mainly for the use of stewards, it reflects the author's experience with court keeping.
