This book dates from 1960 so the amount of butter used seems enormous by today's standards: The recipe for Steak Diane calls for a half cup of melted butteer per steak! In any case the ideas are there but need some adaptation to today's low-fat priorities.(0.9 lbs FO 40/2. Very Good.
