Small 4to, Each volume shows bumping, some wear & light soiling to bds. Contents typically age-toned, but o/w clean and tight. ¶ This is an exceptional journal, with many specialty articles, supplements, and extraordinary photos and illustrations. Each volume contains twelve monthly issues, with list of contributors, and index to contents. Some of the articles or supplements include: "Catalogue of the Revenue Stamps of South America", "History of Railway Letter Stamps", "Provisional Fiscal Issues of the American Occupation of the Philippines", "The Postage Stamps of Japan", "The Newspaper Tax Stamps of Great Britain", "Stamps of the Prussian State Railways", "Bahamas Postal Statistics", (supplement) "Catalogue of the Revenue Stamps of the United States, Mexico, and the States of Central America", "American Railway Stamps", "British Patent Medicine Stamps" etc. etc. Six or seven volumes show spotting to boards and some evidence of early exposure to moisture which, where it exists, is confined to the boards.
