Toronto, Derbishire & Desbarats 1857, wrappers. Stitched paper covers somewhat worn & soiled, conts clean: g/vg. 8vo, pp. 75. Lacks maps, otherwise complete. See Peel (rev'd. ed.) 339. Bookplate of Hudson's Bay Company on inside front cover. ¶ The title continues: "..Leases, or other Documents, under which the Honorable Hudson's Bay Company claim title to the Hudson's Bay Territory, or any Maps relating thereto in the possession of the Government". With schedule of six appendices (however, lacking two maps, as called for in Appendix B). This copy from the library of Hudson's Bay House, with their distinctive bookplate attached, and encased in plain card covers with typed title lable and accession number of front cover. HBC stamp on first page, else no other markings and quite clean throughout.
