Batavorum, ( Leiden ) , apud Franciscum Hackium, 1648, in-12°, 122 x 68 mm , (16)nn pp (including an engraved title page) + 232 pp + (16)nn pp (index), complete, bound in contemporary full vellum, edges painted red, small loss of vellum at lower corner of front cover, some loss of paper at the blank first fly leaf, but a fine copy. Enriched by a previous owner with 2 old engravings with illustrations of wind, windmill etc.. First edition as such which was reprinted by Elzevier in 1662 ( see Willems 1277 ). .
