Some pages are printed in two colums. The author (Tripoli-Lebanon 1710 - Roma 1782) was a Lebanese Maronite, brother of cardinal Simone Assemani. He became professor of Syriac at the Sapienza in Rome. This missal was published as the fourth part of the fourth book of a collection of liturgical codices '' Codex Liturgicus Ecclesiae Universae. Liber IV. Pars IV.''. The half title bearing this note is missing. This codex liturgicus Ecclesiae was the author's main work . It consisted of 15 parts and was published from 1749-1763. .
