Index. Modern imitation snake leather quarter binding with matching marbled boards, original wrappers preserved, (frontwrapper dustsoiled, some slight foxing at some pages, still a fine/good copy). Important early and well edited travel account to Ethiopia which contains also a concise dictionary to some of the languages spoken there. The author met Rimbaud on his travels there, he later became a rather successful painter and was befriended at some time with Paul Signac. .
