The medieval epic tale of Reynard the Fox, first printed by Caxton in the 15the century, here with a text modernised by William Swan Stallybrass and with an Introduction by William Rose. This is followed by the writings of Physiologus translated from the Latin by James Carlill. Lastly there is an extensive Glossary and Notes on Caxton's words and phrases.
