This correspondence includes detailed information about finance, commerce, expansion to other parts of Asia, local and international politics, establishment of trade monopolies, exempting the British East India Comany, the conquest of Jacatra and founding of Batavia, the defeat of Sultan Agoeng (Mataram), and so forth. Very fine untrimmed and partly unopened copy. Rare.
