Colophon (verso blank) and 4 blank leaves at very end. A collection of 12 woodcuts depict. striking points of belgian towns during the first world war or Great War(:) Bruges (2 plates), Ypres, Furnes, Dixmude, Nieuport, Ghent, Termonde, Louvain, Malines and In the Country. The sketches for the woodcuts have been executed shortly before the outbreak of the Great War, the vieuws are therefore authentic impressions. Limited edn. of tog. 525 numbered copies, of which only 500 were for sale. Our copy bears nr. 264. Rare. (blank verso of front boards foxed, recte of first blank foxed, recte of lower outer boards and recte of last blank leave also foxed, further a good clean copy, especially the leaves with the woodcuts).
