Also the plates with extensive captions in german depict. balinese painting, female ceremonial dress, landscapes, housing and temples (Puri), masks, ancient stone-statues, photographs of children and adults, both male and female, offerings, &c. Very good copy. (dustjacket tatty in places, where possible skilfully restored with clear-view acid-free tape).
