Douwes Dekker (the defendant) before the Court of Justice at Batavia, in which defendant pleas that he is not the author of an incriminating article as publ. in the left-wing (SDAP) periodical Onze Beweging (: Our Movement) in which a plea appeared for self-determination for the Indonesian people & his refusal to reveal the name of the original author. At the time there was no press-freedom in colonial Indonesia.
